• 3-Month Membership
• 12-Month Membership (Annual)
  Access begins on the membership start date stated on your invoice/enrolment and runs continuously for the selected duration, subject to academy-wide holiday freezes (see Section 4).

• Fees must be paid in advance. Training access is granted only after full payment for the chosen membership has been received.
• All fees and purchases are non-refundable. This includes membership fees, joining fees, grading fees, uniforms, equipment, seminars, and any other academy purchases.
• Prices may change for future memberships; changes apply to new purchases only.

• No cancellations or refunds once a membership has started.
• Freezes (Academy-Initiated Only): See Section 4 for holiday freezes. Outside of academy-initiated freezes, pauses are not offered, except at the academy’s sole discretion for verified serious medical reasons (doctor’s letter required). Any approved pause provides time credit added to the membership end date; no cash refunds.
• Member-requested freeze (12-month memberships): Up to 1 month total within the 12-month term. Requests must be submitted in advance. The end date is extended by the approved freeze period.
   
• Member-requested freeze (3-month memberships): Not standard. May be considered only at management’s discretion and only for documented medical reasons or serious circumstances. Approval is not guaranteed and may require supporting documentation.
   
• How to request a freeze: All freeze requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation via email to info@unitedkickboxingacademy.com 

• Non-transferable: Memberships and credits cannot be transferred to another person.

• During Summer Holidays and Christmas Holidays, all students’ memberships are frozen by the academy.
• No training sessions are scheduled during these periods.
• The membership end date is extended by the number of frozen days applied by the academy.

• Member attendance is your responsibility.
• You are entitled to up to 3 make-up sessions every 3 months of active membership (e.g., each 3-month block for annual members).
• Make-up days are limited, subject to availability, and not guaranteed.
• Make-ups must be used within the same 3-month block they are granted and do not roll over.
• If the academy cancels a class (e.g., coach illness/facility issue), we will offer a suitable make-up where possible. If not feasible, a time credit may be offered; no cash refunds.

• Members and parents/guardians agree to follow UKA etiquette, safety rules, and coach instructions at all times—on and off the mat.
• The academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate training access (without refund) for conduct that endangers safety or disrupts learning.

By signing below, the member/parent/guardian agrees and declares:

• Fitness to participate: The participant is physically fit with no medical condition making participation unsafe. All relevant conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, injuries) are fully disclosed in writing and will be kept up to date.
• Assumption of risk: Martial arts/physical training involve inherent risks (sprains, strains, impact injuries, etc.). You voluntarily accept all such risks.
• Release & indemnity: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, discharge, and indemnify United Kickboxing Academy, its coaches, staff, and representatives from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
• Emergency care consent: You authorise basic first aid and medical treatment as deemed necessary, including ambulance transfer, and accept responsibility for associated costs.
• Protective equipment: You agree to use required protective gear (e.g., mouthguard, shin/instep guards, gloves, headgear for sparring). Refusal may result in being withheld from activities without refund.

• Class placement, grading eligibility, competition pathways, and progression standards are determined solely by the coaching team based on readiness, safety, and academy criteria. Participation in specific programs or squads is not guaranteed.

• You grant United Kickboxing Academy permission to photograph, film, and record the participant during training, events, and academy activities.
• You grant the academy a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, and publish these images/recordings for training, educational, and promotional purposes (including social media, website, and print), without further notice or compensation.
• You may withdraw consent at any time by written notice to the academy. Withdrawal is prospective only and does not require removal of materials already produced, published, or in production prior to receipt of the notice. The academy will act within a reasonable timeframe to stop future use.
• The academy will not knowingly identify minors by full name without the parent/guardian’s prior written agreement.

• The academy may store contact/medical details for safety and administration and may contact you regarding schedules, events, gradings, and renewals. Data is handled responsibly and not sold to third parties.

By joining, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Medical Waiver, and the Media Consent. You acknowledge that fees are paid in advance and all fees and purchases are non-refundable. You confirm the accuracy of medical information provided and agree to update the academy of any changes.

• United Kickboxing Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• Any updates will be published by the academy (e.g., email notice, website, or posted at the academy).
• Effective date: Changes take effect upon publication unless a later date is specified.
• Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
